Frankly, it is great significance which we just give little presents to each other. First, let’s define ‘Gift’. The dictionary definition of gift is ‘to give others a good or a good itself’. But gift involves not only a good but also time, effort, and feeling which the giver spend to choose the good. And also it involves the process in which beneficiary receives and evaluates the good. However, this is to define gift very narrowly, but the concept and notion of gift in daily life are very wide.
Gift include tangible, intangible elements. Both formally or extemporary giving other tangible good and intangible tings like give a helping hand, receive or take care of others are in category of gift. Why the latter one also can be gift Because price of intangible kind behavior often return to gift, and this kind of exchange repeated over and over.
Tangible and intangible gift have two common things. Do others a favor with no pai…(drop) d free will, and unapplied to economic principle. Gift and charities dividing line became quite ambiguous since both expect no payment. Though, gift don’t care about receiver’s position and just belongs to giver’s will; doesn’t matter it start with voluntary motive or a public duty but charity belongs to beneficiaries needed, so principle of reciprocity could be important standard to these two concept. People who get gift morally feel some pressure about one day he should give again and as well giver have expectation about that either.
Why we exchanging gift in our daily life There are various reasons like celebrating anniversary, birthday, wedding or care, love, encouragement for others. Every human form a connection as a social member, and they put in a great deal of effort. Gift can be effective way in these process.
